The same quirk might also have some bearing on Ice-Ts P5K/PC8500 problem. If the system does boot and/or the PSU test OK it's to easy to overlook it as a possible cause.

I don't know at the moment, LJ is trying to find out what's happening. We do have another pub server but it's hardcore (may change that, depends) feel free to populate that, any of our lads and probably WTE will join you there.

EDIT: Oops forgot the server IP  84.244.147.81:20100 and HC is off (hopefully)

By bootup do you mean before starting to load windows or whilst loading windows?
My PC gets onto windows, the xfire screen pops up, it gets about 1/2 way thru detecting what games I have and then crashes :bad:
and if you disable xfire from starting is it OK?

Then does it always crash while scanning the same game? or does it crash while scanning games that have something in common? like steam?

Ok fixed it...... :uwhat:

Took every part out and tested in my m8's computer.... :(
All the hardware was ok.... :?
Formated my PC and everything works fine now, but lost my rank in COD4..
Could this have been caused by a virus? My m8 seems to think so.
Anyway I will be on more often after my holiday due to work not being so busy at this time of the year.
Thanks for all your help everyone.
