Warface closed beta signups open

A place to discuss upcoming new games, we'll let you talk about Call of Duty but you will run the risk of being ridiculed or banned if you sound like a fan boy!

If you'd like to play Warface, and can stop giggling at the name 'Warface' for a few minutes, signups are now open for the closed beta test of Crytek's free-to-play PC shooter. Crytek's also blasted out a new trailer showing off Warface's player classes, and a nice stompy robot.

To sign up for the closed beta, hold your breath and head over to the official site. Crytek says it'll announce the beta's start date "during 2012"--which isn't overly helpful as that's the same release window it previously gave for the game itself.

Set in some dusty near-future theatre of war, Warface packs both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.

Just played some - its a really really good example of a crap wanky game that should never see the light of day. Its a Counter-Strike-bred-with-Bad-Company-2 wannabe rip off that has 2 broken legs and both sets of genitalia...and War Inc graphics (possibly worse!).

Dont waste your time.
