EA has announced an exclusive publishing agreement with Respawn Entertainment, a new company formed today by Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella.

hopefully they signed with EA because they would let them use dedicated servers.

i tried that mw2 free weekend on steam

game was [sh*t] but what was annoying was some fcker would leave i d then have to wait 35 seconds to die (gave me time to have a smoke n a rich tea dunk)
and it kept using me most of the time to host games the cheeky kent,ing thing

it was very boring. games only lasted 10 mins at most on very small maps and i kept getting acheivment every bloody 2 seconds think i got one for not moving

yep, believe there is one for most time spent in one place there's also a handy prestige/achievement editor so you can go straight to prestige 10 with 1,000,000,000 XP and cut most of the crap out, with the bonus of it unlocking all the weapons (see Merc for details)
Activision & Steam effectively killed the game with their free weekend, all the hackers created new steam accounts so they could test which hacks VAC wouldn't detect (most of them) you now can't move for speed/wall/aimbot hackers.
