Before you continue, requirement is that you already own a Blizzard game (o.a. WoW, Warcraft 3, Diablo 1/2)
How to:

1) Register on Battle.net

2) Authenticate your account

3) Make Sure You Added a Game

4) Download System Specs Checker

5) Upload System Specs

6) Update Beta Opt-in Preferences
For an expanded guide with pwetty pictures check source

In this case I'm just a spotter, can't guarantee anything (I don't own a Blizzard game)

But they are starting the BETA next week.

The official close beta for StarCraft II started on Wednesday. Those who didn’t receive a beta key from either an email invitation or at BlizzCon 2008 will have to wait until the next wave of invites are handed out.

Some fans of the highly-anticipated real-time strategy sequel aren’t willing to wait for that long, however. The beta keys for StarCraft II are going for several hundreds of dollars easily on eBay. In fact, the minimum “Buy It Now” price is currently at $299.99.
sounds like a lucrative business :uwhat:

I've heard Hanzy talk!
Some people are like Slinkies. They’re not really good for anything; but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs!
