I'd signup for the beta but presumably it would take ages to get a key as everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and signed up before me.
I saw Hanz playing it on XFire the other night.

The best defence against software piracy is producing a game worth buying.

I finally received my beta key after signing up months ago.
It works the same as that Quake Live, play through browser.
My first thoughts: full of bunnyhoppin' nabs, but when you look past that its oke... just dont have high expectations from a free game
as a beta tester you can have 4 characters (3 classes per allies/axes)
only got the chance to test the allied sniperguy out, he has a knife, sniperrifle, cloaking and dynamite. Sneaking up people invisible and knifing them
sniperdamage = 14-32 per hit(even with an headshot
)
Vehicles: jeep, tank and plane(still same annoying controles with flighing)
Will keep you updated about the other classes...
Ow and as far as the customisations, you have to complete missions(get 1000points/1round or kill5 people) which give you points for the store/weapon upgrade. no idea what the benefits are for premium users

I was playing it lastnight and thought it was a bit nooby kid style, ok for free though and i think the customisations of your player could be fun, i seen a man with a german helmet and a ski mask run past me last night i had to have a giggle.
I think it is aimed at the unskilled gamer to try and get them into fps games, although it is fun sitting on the wing of a plane shooting noobs, the biggest downfall is the skills you can buy kind of like WOW skills i dont think it suits the style of game
