Its an internet based movement that is calling for the arrest and prosecution of Joseph Kony, a man who has caused travesty in Africa beyond imagination.

It has gained monumental support over the internet since it was officially launched on Monday - Yesterday when I watched the movie it had 10 million views. Tonight when I looked after work nearly 40 million.

If the world can get behind this, it could literally change how the planet is governed, it will give the power to the minority.

There are issues with the people behind this, questions have been raised about how they are spending the money they recieve, but the money is something which is less important, look at the bigger picture.

There are issues with the people behind this, questions have been raised about how they are spending the money they recieve, but the money is something which is less important, look at the bigger picture.

I suppose my issue would be that they're supporting the ugandan army which aren't exactly a clean moralistic bunch. ice has found the link i wanted.

The whole of Africa is corrupt. A sad video yes, and the man needs to be stopped. However.

The problem doesn't start or end with kony, just like the problems in the middle east didn't start and end with Bin Laden.

fair points by the rest of you but its gotta start somewhere and the point of the video is to raise awareness and show as a global union of the people we COULD change the course of history by handing a little power back to the people as without the support of the people government is useless...

people where made aware however many years ago, but then the interest dwindled from the news once someone had stolen a loaf of bread from the corner shop...

As stated in the video they first went to congress and they didn't want to know because it wasn't in their national interest.... until people are made aware of the issue and caused a kick off about it that nothing will actually got done...

10 years ago when we all kicked off about fuel prices here at home and blocked the ports and protested in London they [f*cking] listened... a far cry from the original point of the post but we seen prices drop by a massive 30p per litre...

Yes we can argue that blocking the fuel led to a surplus etc etc that brought prices down anyway but its bollocks... for citizens to want action it requires people to listen and take notice and then make their leaders listen...

as a father of two boys, when I watch something like this then it really hits home and I feel lucky we live in such privilaged circumstances compared to other countries, even if it does seem like we get the [sh*t] end of the stick sometimes, I can honestly say 'like [f*ck] we do'...
