im after getting laptop i dont want a massive monster but i dont want one of them tiny things. Its just ganna be for things like coursework, web browsing, music, and photos no games will be played on it. Needs to be portable with a gd batery life, its for my girlfriend bro whos in the army. got a budget of £400-500, any help would be cool thanks guys

If games aren't important look for Intel cpu/intel chipset Win7 2gb Ram big HDD
2ghz+ dual core cpu (not celeron)
4gb Ram would be better
