OK this is kinda [f*cked] up...

I reinstalled fc1 that night I came and played with all u fags, and everything was fine.
Last night I installed 1.4 and cliveys patch thing because there were no games on 1.33. All was fine.

This morning I came on and tried to join a server and suddenly im running around like a gazelle, its like that speedhack command that cockseal got caught using (cant remember what its called) where everythingis sped up, even the other players.

Cant work out whats changed between last night when I was playin with bongo and this morning. Godzy mentioned a problem with AMD 64 (whatever the [f*ck] that is) and I have an AMD 64 sticker thing on my pc. Have a vague memory of grumpy having speed hack problems with this?

How did you fix it grumps?

I just dont understand how everything can be fine last night, and then wham cheat0r thismorning with absolutly nothing changed on my pc :S

It's the temptation that burns inside Jason .
Sooner or later , the little hack inside wants to burst out

There are a few fixes m8 .

Firstly , before doing anythng else , try and increase your antialising . I read somewhere that this fixed the problem for 1 guy . Don't ask me why .

Secondly ,
I found Grumpys post for you

"You don't happen to have an amd dual core do you? If so there is a known bug with the chip cores that can be fixed by an amd software patch or else by assigning only one core to the game (start the game, ctrl-alt-del, select processes, find farcry and right click, select affinity and only tick one box)"

Ice thinks there is a downloadable fix also , but you'll need to speak to him about that .

There is a driver / optimizer here which might be what he meant :

Sorry for stealing this thread but...

I noticed that i'm something like 900 maps short, anyone can give a link where to find more maps and mappacks?

some servers like the one we were playing have the stamina bar set for insane run mode. its not you its the servers config .this is especialy noticable when spawning press run and watch speedy gonzales go
most servers have fcked up configs

It was that AMD bug, I fixed it by turning off one of my cores when I play fc, should have googled first i guess :P
