Poetic Spam (warning possibly depressing)

We run always
From the figure that stalks our dreams
And shield our eyes lest we may meet his gaze
In bright lit daylight street
Or seedy club on night best forgotten

We hide amongst the company of friends
Hoping that their love will keep at bay
He who waits for all of us

Until one day we can run no more
And turn

And see, beneath the dark mask, a friend
One who bears the greatest gift of all
An end to fear and pain

"Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori:
mors et fugacem persequitur virum
nec parcit inbellis iuventae
poplitibus timidove tergo."

and just so babel dont fook it up

"How sweet and fitting it is to die for one's country:
Death pursues the man who flees,
spares not the hamstrings or cowardly backs
Of battle-shy youths."

Flashes of distraction
reflections of light
echoes from the shore

Another overcast night
windswept and cold
rain still pouring down

Snatches of music
melodys in the air
deaf to it all

Happiness, laughter, joy
mirth in my surroundings
too early to comprehend

Love forever and ever
given no conditions
unless you meet the criteria

Forever wandering
lost with a map
maybe i'll settle here

Too dark to realise
too old to understand
at least there is clarity in that

Just a quick ramble
