I still have my CD key but I've lost my disk :(
[f*ck] me...
I thought you had been kidnapped by a gang of monkey shagging ewoks!

If the DL is live you will get the game, but it will have the add live in it iirc... just get it another way....
Godz wrote:I gave you a key never been used so dont waste your money on another mate, you have tried 3 already.

you just cant play because i asked ubisoft to ban you for life for claiming you bagged me when untrue, the only bagging you will see is when you are throwing your farcry game in the bin. :popcorn:
If only this were possible... :cry:

I seem to remember a suggestion of a Chester Beer call some time back... Godz had his probation officer round and Ice was in Rampton at the time! :lol: :p

Ped I have been able to alternate between two keys for years, (one for uber hacking one for just bagging Greg so he would know it was me...)
I dont think its a key issue, we are missing somethig stupid here...

thinks what we havent tried...
DX 9 install?
Should have [f*ck] all to do with the loging but...?

Well I brought that new copy of FC for £2.60 and got it today

Uninstalled FC cleaned registry with CCleaner + Auslogics registry cleaner

Rebooted

Reinstalled from new DVD then ran 1.4 patch everything went fine

( I did try and run the directx 9.0b but it said I had a newer version installed and it was not needed)

SO I then went to UBI and made a brand new account logged into FC and went to MP logged in fine and entered brand new CD KEY

"CD Key Time Out" and when I tried again "invalid CD Key"

Again the server lists populates so I try to join a server I get "Invalid CD Key"

:x

uninstall it all again lol and start again

still run the dx 9c dxsetup some new games have had this issue on win7..think wow was one of them

youll always get invalid cd key message after the time out one
also dont forget to start a single player game then exit the game go to control panel and default the control configuration start an sp again then all should be fine n dandy(the controls fck up on first play :) )

also dont forget the - in the cd key
EG : fcy-dogs-hitp-iefo-rall

I tried to run the DX9c but it wont let me complete as I have a "newer" version already installed

I did use the far_cry_v1.4_cumulative patch too

Ive submitted a ticket to UBI Support see if they can shed some light on it :popcorn:

Looks like I might be trying a dual boot

A friend of mine had the same problem and after weeks of trouble shooting we found its your Router blocking These Cdkey Auth Addresses And Ports. Also check with your ISP that they are not blocking Ports (TCP: 40000 - 42999
UDP: 41005 And 49001/49002)

RouterIP0=gsarouter02.gs.mdc.ubisoft.com

RouterPort0=40000

RouterLauncherPort0=40005

CDKeyServerIP0=gsxcdkey01.gs.mdc.ubisoft.com

CDKeyServerPort0=44000

NATServerIP0=216.98.52.136

NATServerPort0=45000

NATServerIP1=216.98.52.133

NATServerPort1=45000

Hope that helps mate

Or try this mate Fixes most cd-key problems in Farcry Running Vita and Seven.

1. Open up your start menu and in the search bar type REGEDIT and you should be presented with REGEDIT(.EXE) under the heading Programs. Click it to open it.

2. With the registry open you will see several folders that are variations of the name HKEY_XXXXX. The one we are looking for is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Once you've found that click the little arrow to expand it. In the new list of folders find a folder called SOFTWARE and expand it again by hitting the little arrow.

Please Note: This next step is just like creating a folder in your Documents. Pay particular attention to the capitals and spacing in the new folders we are creating, it won't work otherwise.

3. Right click the folder SOFTWARE and click NEW > KEY and name the folder/key Crytek. Once this Crytek folder is created right click it and select New > Key and name this new folder/key Farcry . After doing this right click the new folder Farcry and select New > Key (this is the last time I swear!) and call this new folder Ubi.com
