Yeah, but the 10th year (2009) has been completed, so the year the last episode is broadcast (2010) is the 11th calendar year, even if it isnt over with.

Why estimate the following years earnings and pay half of what you have not earned yet.

Shouldn't it be:

work for 6 months and pay what you owe for those 6 months

but if I started work in 2000 and still work in 2010 how many years have I been working? 10 or 11? :lol:

you pay tax upfront when your self-employed so you'll now have payed for the 1st 6 months of 2011 so 11 years by your reckoning

The last 2 years I've told em it's impossible to estimate my earnings during a recession and I don't want to pay the 1st 6 months of next year and the tax office have said Ok you don't have to then :)
