having just reconoitered the web i would now say six core has officially hit the mass market..either way just like qaud ..games still run fine on dual core until they even pull their fingers outa their arse,s and make a game that fully use 100% of the second core..and gets over 900 fps @640x480 with nvidia fog enabled

Have you tried playing metro 2033 with a dualcore(stock settings)?? Even on low settngs I was lagging

few games make use of quad cores, BC2 being the only game i know of that makes use of 4 cores, a 6 core cpu is just a waste of money at this point in time IMO.

havent tried it yet hansol same as still havent got round to buying bfbcfbc2 which ran perfect on my old system and at decent settings for a beta jobby pissed all over avp bollox visualy

Tweaked the computer some more and improved my 3DMark06 score:

Had FRAPS on last night and noticed I average 100FPS on BC2 on HIGH with Bloom disabled via config tweak. Makes sniping moving targets a lot easier.
