there are also servers with like small tracks with nowt on, usually practice servers, u can look at more than the uk servers aswell mate, german servers are good

I've done all that, went to launch the game and get a black window with "please wait..." and it just sits there and does sweet FA!

Any ideas? ...firewall is not the problem as I've given the game full access to the t'internet.

use steam to download it mate...

Will give that a shot.
