You will get stressed out but stick with it. Lessons are good if you can find the right person for you, changed my instructor as I don't like to pay some [muff] who gives me a new partern to learn and watch me struggle with it for an hour when I can learn most of that stuff at home. You will need to taught things like:
Holding the sticks, french, german and traditional grips, then things like Moeller technique as your skillz and confidence increases.
O and use a metronome m8

i dont kno [f*ck] all yet mate, i can do soem drums beats and keep time damn well, but thas just from being in bands and dabbling a bit, nvr really been taught anything..
