A place to discuss upcoming new games, we'll let you talk about Call of Duty but you will run the risk of being ridiculed or banned if you sound like a fan boy!

So whats it like then?

Do you need to have played the other 2 bio shocks to follow the story?

i don't think so, but you should play them if you haven't already. they're so good, if only from an aesthetic pov.
they really have a film noir - dystopian feel to 'em which for me makes them a must-play/watch.

i've been looking fwd to this game ever since the rumours came up and have been actively following up till rlsdate, i can't wait to play this game (40% in as we speak)
everyone should get it.

without giving any spoilers... there are references to the previous bioshock games. It's no mandatory to have played them though.

Overall I loved the game, the story, background info and those sound recordings give just that extra bit.
