RAGE (09-2011)

A place to discuss upcoming new games, we'll let you talk about Call of Duty but you will run the risk of being ridiculed or banned if you sound like a fan boy!

Well it played reasonably on my 6950 and appart from crashing on scene loads occasionally and once when the .exe mysteriously vanished I have to say Rage is ................ short!

if you stick to the main story (which is really lineair) alone it does. but there are several sidequests and minigames (bountyboard, racingtrack / quests, gambling), they do get repetitive though.

they really need to release a high-res texture pack. the characters are very detailed but the environment isn't.

We have a bicubic-upsample+detail texture option for the next PC patch that will help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage.

When will they (the games industry) learn its better to delay a launch and produce a great product, than it is to launch it early in an unfinished and unsatisfactory state?
The best defence against software piracy is producing a game worth buying.
