Okay, so after almost 5000 posts on UBI answering this question there is a certain irony in me asking it!

My Far Cry wont load and the Pixies ate my CD key, if I send you a Tangerine and some nuts can you tell me how to make it work pls?

Okay so some of that is true...

Hi mate,

Firstly....... HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!

In order:

1> Disable SLI and run it off one card to see if it eliminates the problem, several games have performance issues with SLI.

2> It sounds stupid, but move the PB folder out of the farcry installation folder to see if PB is the culprit (just move it, dont delete it).

3> Doubt this will make a difference, but try running the game as an Admin in Windows 7. Bear in mind that logging into an account with Admin permissions doesnt actually give you full admin permissions when running EXE's (this is the way windows 7 works). So you'll need to right-click the EXE/Shortcut and choose RUN AS ADMIN, you may also want to try setting the compatibility mode to XP.

I'm mainly playing MOH Tier1, takes a while to get into but it's worth persevering with it, just because of Combat Mission :D
