Santa brought me a Samsung 840 Pro SSD for being a good ginger.

I've just got Windows 7 and Arma3 on it for now plus gaming essentials such as TeamSpeak (plus OpenWolf) and TrackIR. Created a Ramdisk for my TEMP/TMP/Browser-Cache files and Im over the moon at how quick it is.

It could be quicker still as Im only getting 50% of the SSD performance due to my motherboard. Sadly, my Sata3 (6GB) ports use a Marvel controller which is turd, so for better performance and stability Im using it on a SATA 2 port with the Intel controller.

I was tempted to upgrade to a new mobo with the latest Intel chipset for SATA3 support but as it runs everything super smooth now via a SATA2 port I think I'll save my money.
